Your Rights

Under Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), all non-supervisory team members have the right to form a union or oppose forming a union.

Section 7 states that Associates have the right:

  • to self-organization,
  • to form, join or assist labor organizations,
  • to bargain collectively through representatives of their own choosing,
  • to engage in other concerted activities for the purpose of collective bargaining or other mutual aid or protection, and
  • to choose not to participate in any of these activities

Make sure that you know your rights when dealing with unions. Also know that you could lose many of your rights at work if you are represented by a union.
