U.S. Auto Force believes that the introduction of outsiders into our relationship, such as a union, will cost our team members money and unnecessary restrictions on how we communicate and succeed together. We have built our relationship with team members on the principles of fair play and dealing directly. The introduction of outsiders in our relationship takes away the ability of team members and the worksite leaders to address their issues in an honest and efficient manner.

As individuals there is no "one size fits all" solution to any issue or concern. Outsiders who attempt to influence our workplace create roadblocks to our dealings and in the achieving of solutions for you. We believe union can create roadblocks when finding solutions for you that we can work out any problems among ourselves, as we have in the past, by working together.

While people have the right to engage in union activity, they also have an equal right to not join or assist a union. U.S. Auto Force is committed to the respect of your individual rights and if anyone ever asks you to sign a union authorization card or membership card, you have the right to say "NO." Regardless of what you may be told, a union membership or authorization card is a legal document under which you give up your rights, and your voice, to someone else. Signing a union membership or authorization card is like signing a blank check or a power of attorney. It means that you, as an individual, are no longer your advocate. No longer the one to address in your employment at U.S. Auto Force. It means that YOU, as a person, are no longer relevant - the union will make that decision for you. We respect your rights, and we want to make sure that others also respect your rights. We respect our team members' lawful right to choose or reject union representation. However, we believe that our team members don't need a union to represent them.

We are concerned about union security clauses that could force team members to pay dues as a condition of keeping their jobs.

We understand that the union can make campaign promises they aren't obligated to keep, but know that there are no guarantees with a union. Team members could end up with more, the same, or even less in pay and benefits than they have now.

We are committed to fair, market-competitive pay. Our pay and benefits are reviewed every year to ensure we remain competitive. But if a union represents team members, a contract that lasts several years could prevent us from making changes, even if those changes would benefit team members.
